The upcoming planetary alignment on March 29, 2025, in sidereal Pisces is quite significant. I’ve been discussing this for some time now, both in personal conversations and on social media. I thought it would be helpful to create one post where I pull together all my thoughts and insights about what I believe this alignment may bring.
On March 29, 2025, at 6:57 AM Eastern Time, we will experience a powerful Solar Eclipse in sidereal Pisces. This eclipse takes place in the nakshatra of Uttara Bhadrapada, a lunar mansion ruled by Saturn, within the sign of Pisces, which is ruled by Jupiter. At the time of the eclipse, Rahu (the North Node of the Moon), retrograde Venus, Neptune, retrograde Mercury, the Moon, and the Sun will all be conjunct in Uttara Bhadrapada, forming a rare and intense stellium.
Saturn will be positioned at 29°58′ in Purva Bhadrapada, Aquarius, the 12th house from the eclipse point. As the ruler of the nakshatra in which the eclipse occurs, Saturn becomes the Mahadasha ruler of this eclipse and governs the energetic themes of the six-month period that follows.
Adding to the complexity and power of this alignment is the formation of a Mahāparivartana Yoga between Jupiter and retrograde Venus. Jupiter, the ruler of Pisces, will be in Taurus (ruled by Venus), while Venus, the ruler of Taurus, will be in Pisces (ruled by Jupiter). This mutual exchange links and strengthens both signs and further intensifies the connection between the planets involved.
Through this yoga, Jupiter energetically joins the six-planet stellium in Pisces, effectively forming a seven-planet Pisces stellium. At the same time, Venus energetically joins Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus, the 3rd house from the eclipse point. While the planets remain in their original positions, the exchange magnifies their influence and reinforces the energy of their respective signs.
This rare configuration suggests a deeply karmic, transformative moment, particularly in areas related to spiritual awakening, dissolution, emotional release, and collective evolution. With Saturn as the nakshatra lord and Mahadasha ruler, the themes of responsibility, time, structure, and the need to confront limitations or attachments will likely play a central role.
The last time we witnessed a planetary alignment of this magnitude was on December 26, 2019, during a powerful solar eclipse in Mula nakshatra, in sidereal Sagittarius, also a Jupiter-ruled sign. That eclipse featured a rare stellium involving Mercury, the Moon, the Sun, Jupiter, Ketu, Saturn, and Pluto. Mula is a fierce nakshatra ruled by Nirriti, a form of Kali associated with destruction, upheaval, and pulling things up by the roots. At the same time, Rahu was in Ardra, ruled by Rudra Shiva, a storm deity often linked with chaos, storms, grief, and plagues. In hindsight, the global impact of COVID-19 that soon followed was eerily aligned with the karmic weight of that celestial moment. Jupiter, being in its own sign at the time, further amplified the power and consequences of that eclipse.
The upcoming eclipse in Uttara Bhadrapada draws its deeper spiritual tone from its ruling deity, Ahir Budhnya, the "serpent of the deep." Often associated with the primordial waters and the subconscious realms, Ahir Budhnya is a mystical serpent-dragon rooted in the ocean’s depths, symbolizing the hidden forces that sustain and dissolve life. He is a guardian of cosmic truth and protector of sacred wisdom, governing the subtle processes of inner transformation, dissolution, and the return to Source.
It’s especially intriguing that Ahir Budhnya is one of the 11 Rudras in Vedic mythology and Rudra is the fierce storm god who rules Ardra, where Rahu was placed during the December 2019 eclipse. That eclipse catalyzed a global unraveling through the pandemic. In contrast, Ahir Budhnya, though also a Rudra, is a more introspective, mystical force. He governs the deep waters of the psyche and the hidden realms of consciousness, working through dissolution, seclusion, and soul-level transformation.
Uttara Bhadrapada is symbolized by a funeral cot, representing the final rites, the end of a cycle, and the dissolution of worldly attachments. It is the place where the soul is released from the body, where endings are honored, and transformation begins. This symbolism, combined with the rulership of Ahir Budhnya, the serpent of the deep, invites us to view this eclipse as a kind of cosmic death ritual, not necessarily literal (although that may be a part of it), but a profound inner ending. Something is being laid to rest: an identity, a worldview, a karmic pattern that no longer serves. Just as the funeral cot prepares the soul for its next journey, this eclipse may serve as a threshold moment, guiding us all collectively into a new phase of spiritual evolution. The presence of so many planets in Pisces, the final sign of the zodiac, and Saturn in the 12th house, originally ruled by Pisces, reinforces this theme of closure and release, preparing the collective psyche for a rebirth rooted in deeper consciousness and inner truth when Saturn enters Aries 2.5 years from now.
Uttara Bhadrapada and Ardra are fierce in their own way. Ardra tears through illusion with thunder and upheaval, while Uttara Bhadrapada invites us to dissolve from within, to sacrifice, and to shed karmic residue through inner surrender. The repetition of Rudra energy across these eclipses suggests another karmic reckoning, but perhaps it is one that moves us from external collapse toward inner integration and spiritual maturity.
Ketu is in Uttara Phalguni, ruled by the solar deity Aryaman, a god of friendship, contracts, soul agreements, and dharmic partnership. Aryaman represents the warmth and protection found in connection and mutual support, reminding us that our healing and transformation are not only solitary but also relational. Together, these deities suggest that something may be coming that forces is all to get along after all. Lord knows, we sure need a healing of the division in our country, and that must begin with division dissolving within the minds and hearts of each one of us.
Shifting the chart of this eclipse to Saturn as the Mahadasha ruler, we see the eclipse landing in the 2nd house, the domain of values, self-worth, speech, and sustenance. Jupiter, the ruler of the eclipse sign, sits in the 4th house of home, roots, emotional security, and inner life. This suggests a deep karmic review around what we truly value, not just materially, but spiritually, and how those values shape our sense of belonging and our emotional foundation. What do you value? Saturn loves to test and create a bit of a karmic reckoning here. It’s a call to speak and live from a place of deeper integrity, to let go of false security, and to redefine both worth and home from the inside out. Saturn is in the house of endings. What needs to die? What needs to be placed on the sacrificial altar? Death is certainly a theme.
Impact On Your Natal Chart
Saturn will move into Pisces at 12:14 PM Eastern Time on March 29th, and Mercury will take over as the Mahadasha ruler. A new two and a half year cycle will begin for us all, with Saturn giving his lessons in whatever house Pisces resides in your natal chart. The following is very general and will depend on what other planets you have in your house of Pisces, but here is what each rising sign may expect from the transit of Saturn in Pisces:
Aries – Saturn in your 12th house invites solitude, spiritual discipline, and the release of unconscious fears. It's a time to retreat inward, reflect deeply, and let go of what no longer serves your soul.
Taurus – Saturn in your 11th house restructures your friendships, communities, and long-term goals. You’re being called to align your social life with deeper purpose and spiritual integrity.
Gemini – Saturn moves through your 10th house, asking you to mature in your career and public life. Commitments may feel weighty, but this is your time to build something meaningful and enduring.
Cancer – In your 9th house, Saturn urges serious study, philosophical growth, and spiritual commitment. You may find yourself refining your belief system or taking on the role of a teacher or guide.
Leo – Saturn in the 8th brings transformation, psychological depth, and lessons in surrender. It’s a time of confronting shadows, healing old wounds, and stepping into your personal power.
Virgo – Moving through your 7th house, Saturn tests and refines your closest relationships. You’re being called to show up with maturity, boundaries, and authenticity in how you relate.
Libra – Saturn in your 6th house asks you to take responsibility for your health, habits, and service to others. Discipline and humility will be your allies as you build resilience and purpose through daily life.
Scorpio – In your 5th house, Saturn challenges creativity, romance, and self-expression. It’s time to heal your inner child, learn what brings you true joy, and to express your gifts with intention.
Sagittarius – Saturn in the 4th house brings karmic lessons around home, family, and emotional grounding. You may be called to face the past, redefine what “home” means, or take on new responsibilities in your private life.
Capricorn – In your 3rd house, Saturn sharpens your communication, mindset, and learning. You’re being asked to speak with clarity, think with depth, and commit to writing or meaningful sharing through social media or the internet.
Aquarius – With Saturn in the 2nd, you're reassessing your values, self-worth, and relationship to money. This is a time to build lasting security by aligning your resources with your true priorities.
Pisces – Saturn in your 1st house marks a powerful initiation into maturity and self-mastery. You’re being shaped into a more grounded, authentic version of yourself, one that can carry the weight of your dharma.
Impact On The United States
The exact moment that Saturn enters Pisces at 12:14:39 PM Eastern Time in Washington, DC, the nakshatra of Ardra is on the rising, ruled by the storm deity, Rudra Shiva. The now seven-planet stellium (eight if you count Jupiter which is still in Mahāparivartana Yoga with Venus Retrograde) falls into the 10th house, and the profound karmic reckoning enters the United States. As I previously mentioned, Ardra signals storms, upheaval, and necessary destruction, the tearing down of illusion to reveal truth and return adharma to dharma.
The 10th house governs leadership, government, visibility, and collective karma. A huge planetary stellium here suggests a massive restructuring of public systems, institutions, and the very ideals that shape our collective path forward. With Saturn entering this pile-up, there is weight, sobriety, and accountability added to the moment. Pisces dissolves, spiritualizes, and transcends, but under Saturn’s gaze, we’re asked to face the reality of our delusions and the spiritual bankruptcy of current structures. This could signal the beginning of a cycle where outdated paradigms of power are dismantled, and new, more visions of leadership and responsibility are seeded, though not without turbulence and emotional storms.
The 10th house of leadership is often associated with the Presidency, and in the United States natal chart (a Mula Rising chart, which made COVID-19 so impactful for our country), Pisces falls into the 4th house.
In the Kelleher natal chart of the United States, the 4th house represents the homeland, the emotional foundation of the nation, and matters of both personal and collective security, including homeland security. The 10th house, where Ketu is currently transiting, signifies the Presidency, national leadership, and the country's public standing. At the time of this eclipse, the U.S. is in a Rahu–Mercury Mahadasha, placing Ardra, that fierce nakshatra ruled by Rudra, into the 12th house, the domain of loss, endings, hidden enemies, and sacrifice, as shown below. This combination suggests an unraveling tied to national identity, leadership, and the need to reckon with what must be released in order for something more aligned to emerge. It’s a potent time that may bring both dissolution and revelation.
Mercury is retrograde during this March solar eclipse, and interestingly, Mercury is also retrograde in the United States’ natal chart. Mercury governs the 10th house of the U.S. chart (Virgo), making this a concerning time with respect to potential losses or reversals in leadership. With Ketu currently transiting the 10th house, we’ve already seen the symbolic impact in the form of President Joe Biden ending his 2024 campaign. It raises questions about what this entire nodal transit (from now until May 18, 2025, when Rahu and Ketu shift signs) might bring in terms of further unraveling in the realm of national leadership. The fact that Saturn’s entry into sidereal Pisces occurs under an Ardra rising chart only intensifies the potential for significant karmic shifts.
Adding to the gravity, Saturn is transiting the 4th house of the U.S. chart, directly aspecting the natal Saturn with its 7th aspect, while also conjunct transit Ketu, a deeply destabilizing configuration. This alignment suggests deaths, losses, endings, structural breakdowns, emotional unrest, and possibly issues related to health, national stability, and even small animals or public services. Meanwhile, the country is approaching both a Mars return in Gemini in the 7th house of foreign relations and a Uranus return in Taurus in the 6th house of challenges, conflict, and systemic pressure.
There is so much here to unpack, and it seems we are entering a liminal space, one that may demand surrender, clarity, and a radical reorientation of national values and leadership.
Past Uranus Returns In Taurus
Uranus has officially entered sidereal Taurus, moving into the 6th house of the United States' Vedic chart, the house of challenges, conflict, disease, labor, and debt. Uranus, the planet of sudden upheaval and revolutionary change, is deeply unsettling in Taurus, a sign that clings to material security and slow, steady growth. As this disruptive force moves through the U.S. 6th house, we enter a karmic cycle where wars, both visible and invisible, tend to ignite.
Historically, the U.S. has entered major transformative wars during Uranus in sidereal Taurus:
1775–1783: The American Revolutionary War
1861–1865: The Civil War
1939–1945: World War II (US entered in 1941)
Interestingly, each of these wars happened when Uranus was in Sidereal Taurus in the nakshatra of Krittika, a nakshatra associated with the Vedic warrior, Kartikeya. Each of these conflicts redefined the nation's economic foundation, labor structure, and position in the world. They were not just wars of politics, but wars over values, identity, and survival, all Taurus themes.
This current transit of Uranus lands us in the heart of the Fourth Turning, a generational theory that describes a cyclical crisis point in United States history that occurs roughly every 80–100 years. According to this theory, we are in the final act of a societal cycle called a Crisis Period, a time of upheaval when old systems collapse and a new world is born. Uranus, the great disrupter, entering Taurus, the great preserver, signals that the pressure to evolve as a country and government will be met with immense resistance. This can manifest as economic collapse, labor revolts, protests, national health emergencies, or global war, especially given the 6th house’s rulership over conflict, service, and survival.
As Uranus conjuncts Jupiter between now and May 14, 2025, the energy amplifies. Jupiter magnifies whatever it touches, meaning that the shifts in labor, health, and national conflict could be not only sudden, but colossal. If history is a guide, we are at the precipice of a transformation that will challenge the very core of American identity and possibly redefine what power and survival mean for the nation. Will we evolve or repeat the pattern yet again?
The Morning Star
Venus is currently a Morning Star.
In ancient astrology, the appearance of Venus as a morning star, rising in the eastern sky just before sunrise, was often seen as an omen of war, unrest, and aggressive diplomacy. When Venus transitions into this phase (following its inferior conjunction with the Sun), it takes on a more assertive, masculine, and fiery quality, quite different from its peaceful, diplomatic nature as an evening star. Cultures such as the Babylonians and Mayans meticulously tracked Venus’s phases, associating its morning star appearance with military campaigns, upheavals, and shifts in power. In Vedic astrology, too, Venus as a morning star is said to lose some of its sweetness, becoming more willful and forceful, especially when afflicted or aligned with malefics, and there are a lot of malefics aligning when we have eclipses. This celestial transformation was not taken lightly by ancient observers. It marked a time when the goddess of love carried a sword instead of a flower, signaling that the desires of the world might be pursued through conflict rather than harmony.
Saturn And Rahu: Death of Leaders
In 1968, the tragic assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. (April 4) and Robert F. Kennedy (June 5) occurred under a powerful and ominous transit: Saturn conjunct Rahu in Revati nakshatra, Pisces. Revati, ruled by Mercury, governs final transitions, endings, and the dissolution of form, making it a sensitive juncture between worlds. With Saturn (karma, structure) and Rahu (chaos, illusion) converging here, it created a volatile karmic vortex where the loss of visionary leaders reshaped the course of history. This conjunction amplified confusion, unrest, and the shadowy undercurrents of power, making it a moment where collective fate met individual destiny in heartbreaking ways.
From March 29, 2025 until May 18, 2025, Saturn and Rahu will again conjoin in Pisces, but this time in the Bhadrapada nakshatras (Purva and Uttara), a different energetic flavor, but still charged with karmic intensity and the potential for disruption. Bhadrapada is symbolized by the funeral cot and is concerned with death, sacrifice, moral responsibility, and the tension between chaos and cosmic order. While we are not in Revati this time, the potential for political unrest, institutional collapse, or harm to spiritual or social leaders still exists if the collective consciousness remains as reactive and unconscious as it has been of late. The key difference now is the invitation to respond rather than repeat. Perhaps the release of the MLK, JFK, and RFK classified files will bring some things to rest at this time. This conjunction could likely stir mass psychological unrest, spiritual confusion, and institutional revelations, but if approached with clarity, grounding, and collective intention, we can channel this energy into reform, spiritual maturation, and deeper discernment, rather than violence and chaos. Saturn and Rahu always bring frustration when they conjoin, but Saturn always brings a lesson in patience and integrity.
President Donald Trump
Finally, I want to point out that President Trump faces some challenging alignments as this Pisces eclipse falls into his 8th house of life and death, ups and downs, and unexpected events.
While nearly every astrologer predicted Kamala Harris would win the 2025 presidential race, I was one of the very few who accurately foresaw Donald Trump's victory. At the time of the election, he was running his Jupiter–Venus Mahadasha. His 6th house of opponents is Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, which is placed in his 12th house of losses, a configuration that actually indicates victory over enemies rather than defeat. Venus, representing female figures, adds another layer: the last time he faced a female opponent was Hillary Clinton, a distinctly Saturnian figure, again reflected by Saturn in the 12th. The presence of both Venus and Saturn suggests two significant victories over female opponents in presidential races. The clincher, however, is the nakshatra of Punarvasu in the 12th house, a lunar mansion known for cycles repeating. Ruled by Jupiter, and perfectly aligned with his current Jupiter–Venus dasha, this repeating pattern made the outcome unmistakably clear to me.
On July 13, 2024, the President survived an assassination attempt in Butler, PA. The chart for that moment, shown below, features Jyestha nakshatra rising in Scorpio, a placement known for its resilience, strategic power, and ability to rise stronger through adversity. True to Jyestha’s essence, we witnessed Trump emerge from the ground, fist raised, defiantly calling out “fight”, a striking embodiment of Jyestha’s will to overcome and lead through crisis.
If you look closely at the natal chart above, you’ll see that Jyeshtha is where Trump’s natal Ketu and Moon sit in his 4th house, which governs physical home, emotional security, the mother, and one’s inner sense of rootedness. Trump was born under a Full Moon lunar eclipse in Scorpio, with the Sun and Rahu in Mrigashira (Taurus), conjunct Uranus, already suggesting a life tied to disruption, karmic cycles, and unpredictable events.
Now, if you examine the transit chart during his assassination attempt, Uranus was transiting Taurus in Krittika, exactly where it is again. On April 29, 2025, Uranus will cross the same degrees in Krittika that it did on the day of the incident in Butler, PA. When planets like Uranus, linked with shock, upheaval, and karmic activation, cross over sensitive natal or event degrees, they can trigger similar events. Not always, but often.
The 8th house governs life, death, transformation, and hidden forces. With Rahu and Saturn conjunct in the 8th until May 18th, and Uranus about to pass over a karmic trigger point, this is a highly sensitive window. I truly hope he is surrounded by strong protection and security. This alignment is deeply concerning. Will something happen? I hope not. I do not wish harm on anyone.
That said, I do believe Trump has a karmic role to play in this larger evolutionary moment. He is a disruptor, born under a Full Moon eclipse spanning his 4th and 10th houses, the axis of home and leadership, roots and visibility. This is the Ardra kind of energy: a storm-bringer, a catalyst. He can endure difficult things, and he can also unleash them. But catalysts are part of change.
The United States is currently in its Sade Sati, Saturn’s 7.5-year transit over its natal Moon, a time of loss, massive change, and restructuring in not only the U.S. chart but in the chart of anyone going through a Sade Sati in their life. We also just experienced our Pluto return, the first since the American Revolutionary War. Something is dying. What exactly? We’ll soon find out. But ultimately, this is meant to lead to a rebirth, a spiritual reset in the heart and psyche of the nation (the 4th house) where healing becomes possible.
In his own way, Trump is woven into that story. He was President when Saturn entered Capricorn, marking the beginning of Sade Sati and the Covid era. And now, he returns to leadership as Saturn prepares to enter Pisces, closing that karmic chapter. Eclipse energy is chaotic, disruptive, and transformational, just like him. And perhaps, just like this moment, it’s all part of a larger cosmic unfolding.
The Way Forward
As we move into the March 29th Solar Eclipse in Uttara Bhadrapada, Pisces, we stand at a threshold, collectively and individually. This eclipse doesn’t arrive alone. It is braided with the return of Venus as Morning Star, Uranus stirring in Taurus, and the lingering echoes of 1968’s Saturn–Rahu conjunction in Pisces. We are once again in a moment of intense karmic unraveling. The eclipse and Saturn’s entrance into the Pisces Bhadrapada nakshatras mark a sobering turning point. Saturn in these nakshatras calls us to grow up, to reckon with the spiritual consequences of our collective choices, and to recognize where dissolution must precede rebirth.
All of this unfolds in the 4th house of the United States chart, the heart of the nation, the home, the land, the people’s emotional foundation. This is the place of ancestral memory, national identity, and the soul of the collective psyche. Something within the heart of America is being purified, exposed, and cracked open for deeper truth to enter. There is no bypassing what must be felt and healed here.
For each of us personally, this eclipse is a reminder that real transformation happens at the roots. Wherever Pisces falls in your chart, you are being asked to surrender what no longer aligns with your soul’s evolution and dharma. Uttara Bhadrapada teaches us the sacredness of endurance, the value of inner stillness, and the necessity of dissolving what we cling to out of fear. Saturn's gaze ensures we cannot escape the truth. But with that truth comes a profound invitation: to participate in the healing of this world by first returning to the heart of your own being, your 4th house within.
Let this eclipse be your offering. Let it soften you, awaken you, and guide you home.
All the Blessings,
Jennifer
